Build a timed practice exam from 80 original DP-900 questions. Choose the length, difficulty, and domains, then review explanations and a score report that shows where to study next.
Before you start: These are original practice questions for Exam DP-900, not Microsoft exam items. Results show practice points only; they are not converted to an official exam scale. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing is saved, so print or save your score report before you close the page. For background on each topic, see the core notes and flashcards.
Set up an exam, answer every question, then submit to see your score report.

Each exam is drawn at random from the questions that match your settings. Questions are spread across the domains you select in proportion to the pool, so a 20-question exam mirrors the weight of each domain instead of clustering in one area. Every attempt draws a new set, and answer choices are shuffled unless you turn that option off.
This bank contains 80 original single-answer multiple-choice questions. Each question has one best answer and an explanation of the relevant distinction. It does not simulate every question format or the Azure data services portal. Use the worked scenarios in the core notes alongside these questions.
The 80 questions use an editorial practice allocation within the July 21, 2026 study-guide ranges: 22 core, 18 relational, 16 non-relational, and 24 analytics questions (27.5%, 22.5%, 20%, and 30%). These are not official fixed exam weights. Filtered sessions may have a different distribution.
| Domain | Exam weight | Questions | Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.0 Describe core data concepts | 25–30% | 22 | 8 / 8 / 6 |
| 2.0 Identify considerations for relational data on Azure | 20–25% | 18 | 6 / 7 / 5 |
| 3.0 Describe considerations for working with non-relational data on Azure | 15–20% | 16 | 6 / 6 / 4 |
| 4.0 Describe an analytics workload on Azure | 25–30% | 24 | 8 / 10 / 6 |
Difficulty levels: Beginner questions check a single fact, such as which data shape or Azure SQL option fits a constraint. Intermediate questions apply a concept to a short scenario. Advanced questions require weighing constraints, identifying missing evidence, or separating several plausible explanations.
In the score report, domains below 75% are marked as focus areas and ordered by impact: a low score in a heavily weighted domain comes first. The 75% and 85% review bands are local study prompts, not official passing or booking thresholds.
This focused bank contains 22 core-concepts, 18 relational, 16 non-relational, and 24 analytics questions. The allocation is a study design based on the published domain ranges, not a forecast of a live exam. Content reviewed October 23, 2026. Question IDs remain stable for correction reports; include the question text or review date when reporting an issue.
The official DP-900 study guide defines the scope. The Azure data architecture guidance helps map workloads to services, and the official scoring guidance explains why a practice percentage cannot be treated as a Microsoft scaled score. These independent questions do not reproduce the complete exam experience.

No. This report describes only the selected practice questions. Official exams use their own scoring methods and different question sets. Use missed concepts, explanations, and hands-on tasks to plan your next review.
Use mixed-difficulty practice to find gaps across every objective, then review all explanations, including correct guesses. Check unfamiliar scenarios and hands-on skills before booking; no practice percentage establishes readiness.
No. The exam runs entirely in your browser. Answers and results are not stored or sent, so they disappear when you close or reload the page. Print or save the score report if you want to keep it.
