Study guide · Practice exams
Build a timed practice exam from 200 original AZ-700 questions. Choose the length, difficulty, and domains, then review explanations and a score report that shows where to study next.
Before you start: These are original practice questions, not Microsoft exam items. Results show practice points only; they are not converted to an official exam scale. Practice answers are processed in your browser and are not persisted by the exam, so print or save your score report before you close the page. For background on each topic, see the core notes and flashcards.
Set up an exam, answer every question, then submit to see your score report.
Loading the question bank…
Each exam is drawn at random from the questions that match your settings. Questions are spread across the domains you select in proportion to the pool, using rounded allocations. Short sessions and difficulty filters can change the mix; this is not a promise about the live exam distribution. Every attempt draws a new set, and answer choices are shuffled unless you turn that option off.
The pool contains 200 original single-answer multiple-choice questions, each with four options and an explanation. Select one answer per question. There are no matching, ordering, or multiple-response items in this AZ-700 bank. Microsoft may use other formats on the real exam; this page does not simulate the Azure portal.
The 200 questions use an editorial allocation of 28%, 22%, 18%, 12%, and 20%. These shares fall within the published domain ranges for skills measured as of July 27, 2026. Difficulty filters can change the mix in a practice session.
| Domain | Exam weight | Questions | Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.0 Design and implement core networking infrastructure | 25–30% | 56 | 22 / 22 / 12 |
| 2.0 Design, implement, and manage connectivity services | 20–25% | 44 | 18 / 17 / 9 |
| 3.0 Design and implement application delivery services | 15–20% | 36 | 14 / 14 / 8 |
| 4.0 Design and implement private access to Azure services | 10–15% | 24 | 10 / 9 / 5 |
| 5.0 Design and implement Azure network security services | 15–20% | 40 | 16 / 16 / 8 |
Difficulty levels: Beginner questions check a single fact, such as what VNet peering provides. Intermediate questions apply a concept to a short scenario. Advanced questions combine several facts, ask for the FIRST or BEST action, or require choosing a corrective action from diagnostic evidence.
In the score report, domains below 75% are marked as focus areas and ordered by impact: a low score in a heavily weighted domain comes first. The 75% and 85% review bands are local study prompts, not official passing or booking thresholds.

No. This report describes only the selected practice questions. Official exams use their own scoring methods and different question sets. Use missed concepts, explanations, and hands-on tasks to plan your next review.
Use mixed-difficulty practice to find gaps across every objective, then review all explanations, including correct guesses. Check unfamiliar scenarios and hands-on skills before booking; no practice percentage establishes readiness.
No. The exam runs entirely in your browser. Answers and results are not stored or sent, so they disappear when you close or reload the page. Print or save the score report if you want to keep it.
