How these practice exams work

Each exam is drawn at random from the questions that match your settings. Questions are allocated in proportion to the selected pool, with rounding to whole questions. Filters and short session lengths can change the domain mix. Each attempt samples again, so questions can repeat across attempts; answer choices are shuffled unless you turn that option off.

  1. Choose your settings. Pick the domains and difficulty levels to include, the number of questions, and a time limit.
  2. Answer like the real exam. Move freely between questions, flag questions to revisit, and use the navigator to find anything you skipped. In Exam mode, the exam submits automatically when time runs out.
  3. Review your score report. See your overall score, results by domain, difficulty, and question type, the explanation for every question, and advice on which topics to study next.

This bank contains 80 original single-answer multiple-choice questions. Each question has one best answer and an explanation of the relevant distinction. It does not simulate every question format or the Microsoft security portals. Use the worked scenarios in the core notes alongside these questions.

Question pool by domain

The 80 questions use the midpoints of the October 21, 2026 study-guide ranges: 10 concepts, 22 Entra, 30 security, and 18 compliance questions (12.5%, 27.5%, 37.5%, and 22.5%). These are not official fixed exam weights. Filtered sessions may have a different distribution.

Difficulty levels: Beginner questions check a single fact, such as which Defender product or Entra control fits a constraint. Intermediate questions apply a concept to a short scenario. Advanced questions require weighing constraints, identifying missing evidence, or separating several plausible explanations.

How scoring works

Short sessions use rounded allocations from the selected question pool. Filters change that pool, so a short practice set may not match the official domain ranges exactly. The 80-question bank allocation is a study design, not a prediction of the live exam.

In the score report, domains below 75% are marked as focus areas and ordered by impact: a low score in a heavily weighted domain comes first. The 75% and 85% review bands are local study prompts, not official passing or booking thresholds.

Question scope and review

This focused bank contains 10 concept, 22 Entra, 30 security, and 18 compliance questions. The allocation is a study design based on the published domain ranges, not a forecast of a live exam. Content reviewed November 1, 2026. Question IDs remain stable for correction reports; include the question text or review date when reporting an issue.

The official SC-900 study guide defines the scope. Microsoft security, Entra, and Purview documentation helps map a need to a service, and the official scoring guidance explains why a practice percentage cannot be treated as a Microsoft scaled score. These independent questions do not reproduce the complete exam experience.

Frequently asked questions

Are these real Microsoft exam questions?

No. Every question is original and written from the public SC-900 study guide. Certicab does not use or distribute leaked exam content.

Can this practice score predict my real exam result?

No. This report describes only the selected practice questions. Official exams use their own scoring methods and different question sets. Use missed concepts, explanations, and hands-on tasks to plan your next review.

How many practice questions should I answer before booking the exam?

Use mixed-difficulty practice to find gaps across every objective, then review all explanations, including correct guesses. Check unfamiliar scenarios and hands-on skills before booking; no practice percentage establishes readiness.

Are my answers saved or sent anywhere?

No. The exam runs entirely in your browser. Answers and results are not stored or sent, so they disappear when you close or reload the page. Print or save the score report if you want to keep it.
