AWS Certified Developer – Associate

A learning path for the DVA-C02 exam: develop with AWS services, secure the application, deploy it, and troubleshoot what you shipped.

All four resources in this learning path are available. The exam overview, core notes, flashcards, and practice exams follow the AWS Certified Developer – Associate Exam Guide (DVA-C02), version 2.1. DVA-C02 is the exam you can take now. The last day to take it is November 30, 2026. AWS has announced DVA-C03, and registration for that exam opens on October 27, 2026. New to AWS service names? The Cloud Practitioner path covers the foundational map first. Architecture questions that are not application code live on the Solutions Architect path.

What to expect from this learning path

The overview, core notes, flashcards, and practice exams are published. Every resource is free, and no login or payment is requested. The practice exams use 200 original questions. Domain weights follow exam guide version 2.1: 32 percent, 26 percent, 24 percent, and 18 percent. Emerging AI topics in that guide do not affect the score. This topic does not include an AWS console simulator.

These are independent educational resources. They are not official AWS training, and a practice score does not predict an exam result. Always confirm current exam requirements, pricing, and objectives with AWS before you book.
