Build a timed practice exam from 200 original Data+ (DA0-002) questions. Choose the length, difficulty, and domains, then review explanations and a score report that shows where to study next.
Before you start: These are original practice questions, not CompTIA exam items. They follow the DA0-002 objectives (Data+ V2). DA0-001 retired in 2026. CompTIA publishes a passing score of 675 on a scale of 100 to 900, but not the conversion, so the scaled score on this page is unofficial. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing is saved, so print or save your score report before you close the page. For background on each topic, see the core notes and flashcards.
Set up an exam, answer every question, then submit to see your score report.

Each exam is drawn at random from the questions that match your settings. Questions are spread across the domains you select in proportion to the pool, so a 20-question exam mirrors the weight of each domain instead of clustering in one area. Every attempt draws a new set, and answer choices are shuffled unless you turn that option off.
The pool includes multiple-choice, multiple-response, and simple performance-based tasks such as matching a chart to its job and putting a process in order. This page is not a hands-on lab simulator.
The 200 questions follow the published DA0-002 domain weights. Data analysis, the largest domain, has the most questions.
| Domain | Exam weight | Questions | Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.0 Data Concepts and Environments | 20% | 40 | 10 / 19 / 11 |
| 2.0 Data Acquisition and Preparation | 22% | 44 | 11 / 21 / 12 |
| 3.0 Data Analysis | 24% | 48 | 13 / 22 / 13 |
| 4.0 Visualization and Reporting | 20% | 40 | 10 / 19 / 11 |
| 5.0 Data Governance | 14% | 28 | 8 / 13 / 7 |
Difficulty levels: Beginner questions check a single fact, such as what a median is. Intermediate questions apply a concept to a short scenario. Advanced questions combine several facts, ask for the FIRST or BEST action, or are performance-based tasks.
In the score report, domains below 75% are marked as focus areas and ordered by impact: a low score in a heavily weighted domain comes first. Aim for 85% or higher across every domain before you move on.
No. Every question is original and written from the public DA0-002 objectives. Certicab does not use or distribute leaked exam content, sometimes called brain dumps, which violates the CompTIA candidate agreement.
No. CompTIA publishes a passing score of 675 on a scale of 100 to 900, but it does not publish how raw scores convert to that scale. The estimate is a linear guide for comparing your own attempts.
Aim for consistent results around an estimated 675 or higher, and about 85 percent, on mixed-difficulty timed exams that cover every domain. Then review every explanation, including questions you answered correctly.
No. The exam runs entirely in your browser. Answers and results are not stored or sent, so they disappear when you close or reload the page. Print or save the score report if you want to keep it.
