Exam format, the 700 passing score, domain weights, and a study plan.
Study guide · Practice exams
Build a timed practice exam from 90 original DP-700 questions. Choose the length, difficulty, and domains, then review explanations and a score report that shows where to study next.
Before you start: These are original practice questions for Exam DP-700, not Microsoft exam items. Results show practice points only; they are not converted to an official exam scale. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing is saved, so print or save your score report before you close the page. For background on each topic, see the core notes and flashcards.
Set up an exam, answer every question, then submit to see your score report.

Each exam is drawn at random from the questions that match your settings. Questions are spread across the domains you select in proportion to the pool, so a 20-question exam mirrors the weight of each domain instead of clustering in one area. Every attempt draws a new set, and answer choices are shuffled unless you turn that option off.
This bank contains 90 original single-answer multiple-choice questions, including code-reading, incremental recovery, security-boundary, and troubleshooting scenarios. Each question has one best answer and an explanation of the relevant distinction. It does not simulate every question format or the Azure data services portal. Use the worked scenarios in the core notes alongside these questions.
The 90 questions use an editorial practice allocation aligned with the October 19, 2026 study-guide ranges of 30–35% per domain: 30 manage, 30 ingest and transform, and 30 monitor and optimize questions (exactly one third each, displayed as 33.3%). These equal study allocations are not mathematical midpoints or fixed live-exam quotas. Filtered sessions may have a different distribution.
| Domain | Exam weight | Questions | Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.0 Implement and manage an analytics solution | 30–35% | 30 | 10 / 10 / 10 |
| 2.0 Ingest and transform data | 30–35% | 30 | 10 / 10 / 10 |
| 3.0 Monitor and optimize an analytics solution | 30–35% | 30 | 10 / 10 / 10 |
Difficulty levels: Beginner questions check a single Fabric fact, such as which item type or security control fits a constraint. Intermediate questions apply a concept to a short scenario. Advanced questions require weighing constraints, comparing Fabric patterns, or separating several plausible explanations.
In the score report, domains below 75% are marked as focus areas and ordered by impact: a low score in a heavily weighted domain comes first. The 75% and 85% review bands are local study prompts, not official passing or booking thresholds.
This focused bank contains 30 manage, 30 ingest-and-transform, and 30 monitor-and-optimize questions. The allocation is a study design based on the published domain ranges, not a forecast of a live exam. Content reviewed October 25, 2026 against the October 19, 2026 study guide. Exam DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer) is retired; DP-700 covers Fabric data engineering instead. Question IDs remain stable for correction reports; include the question text or review date when reporting an issue.
The official DP-700 study guide defines the scope. Microsoft Fabric documentation covers OneLake, lakehouse, warehouse, pipelines, and real-time analytics, and the official scoring guidance explains why a practice percentage cannot be treated as a Microsoft scaled score. These independent questions do not reproduce the complete exam experience.
No. Every question is original and written from the public DP-700 study guide. Certicab does not use or distribute leaked exam content.
No. This report describes only the selected practice questions. Official exams use their own scoring methods and different question sets. Use missed concepts, explanations, and hands-on tasks to plan your next review.
Use mixed-difficulty practice to find gaps across every objective, then review all explanations, including correct guesses. Check unfamiliar scenarios and hands-on skills before booking; no practice percentage establishes readiness.
No. The exam runs entirely in your browser. Answers and results are not stored or sent, so they disappear when you close or reload the page. Print or save the score report if you want to keep it.
